This large wall bed is capable of providing strong and reliable support to a European King mattress with its metal slats frame. The front of the cabinet, when folded, has a silver handle that, along with pneumatic mechanism and soft-closing system, makes it incredibly easy and effortless to open the bed. With three functional shelves inside, this wall bed provides a storage solution for decorative items and books.

The mattress is not included. The required size for this bed is 160 x 200cm. The recommended mattress thickness is 20cm and weight of 22kg, otherwise, the bed may have difficulties folding back up. Our foam/bonnell sprung mattress can be purchased separately by clicking here.
Please be aware that for safety reasons the bed needs to be mounted to a wall. Fixings for this will not be included as you need ones specific for your type of wall.
FUNCTIONALITY
This bed provides a sleeping area without taking up valuable living space. You can simply fold up the bed when not in use to reclaim the free space. Add some personal touch to and put some picture frames or decorations on the shelves so that the bed can still look interesting even when folded down!
ASSEMBLY AND WALL MOUNTING
Wall beds must be fixed directly to a solid structure such as brick, concrete or a solid timber frame. Wall beds must not be fixed to a plasterboard or similar unless there is a solid structure underneath them. Wall fixings for your specific type of wall can be purchased at a local DIY store. We recommend this item be assembled by a professional joiner or a competent person.

Not going lie, I put this together solo, and it was hard work, took around 9 hours in total, it’s a heavy bit of kit, but it’s doable.
Feel the instructions could be a little better, but just take your time, check and recheck, and it will all come together in the end.
Very happy with the end result, it’s a well made solid piece of kit, and have no regrets, looks amazing, and I have my floor space back when I want to use my Gym equipment.
I’ve ended up ordering the headrest afterwards, as I feel it needs this, but also feel this should be included as part of the package.
Overall very happy with my purchase, would highly recommend for those wanting to re claim their floor space for other uses.
Fantastic! I must admit it took a good 12 hours of looking at the instructions and debating whether I was building a bed or a 3 storey building..... but once finished it was worth it! My children needed more space so I've been evicted into the living room so this is absolutely brilliant, convenient, and I must say probably the the most sturdy piece of furniture I own. Very comfy, solid, and most of all practical. The dog aproves as do i.

Firstly may I just say that Nick, the Arthauss delivery guy was amazing, carrying 200kg + of boxes and a mattress up a flight of stairs on his own, I couldn't even lift one of the smaller boxes..!! Thanks Nick, you're a star.
The printed assembly instructions for the bed do leave a bit to be desired and the YouTube video gives the impression you can put this bed together in a few hours (you can't) but combined did the trick with a bit of our own common sense thrown in for good measure.
My wife and I (75 and 70 respectively) managed the whole assembly in two days....admittedly long days but that and a couple of hours on top for prep and clearing up before and after and it's doable and I think for a couple of "oldies" we did well...
The quality of the kit is second to none and as you can see from the photos has freed up a huge amount of floor space where a conventional double used to be and we still have the bed facility for guests with no compromise.
All in all, I can highly recommend the company and the products they sell.
Brilliant! Took 2 days between 2 amateurs to put it together, I found instructions were clear enough. For a moment I tried to skip the drilling against the wall until the end but the hydraulics won’t open the bed otherwise, so definitely follow instructions to the T!
I drilled in some cord to hold the books in the little slots as the big ones kept falling down (very shallow slots, could be improved by making it deeper tbh). Added some shelf lamps from eBay and voila looks great in the living room!
Also the king mattress purchased from here is comfortable, have been sleeping for weeks now without issue - even when I’m used to a deeper simba hybrid!
Would definitely recommend, such a great space saver.
This bed is exactly as it looks on the website. The mechanism to open and close is very smooth and the lights give it such a cosy feel. My only recommendation is to provide assembly services. Couple pieces were missing when assembling, but nothing major. I love the bed!
Very strong materials used for this design, easy to build, I mafe it with a little help from my wife geom time to time. Saves a lot of space and looks very nice. Strongly recommend to anyone who need more space in a sleeping area.

I must say this is not the easiest flat pack we have ever assembled being in our late 70s it was a step too far. My husband was all for throwing it out on day 4! Thanks to YouTube we got it up in the end.
The one thing we did not like was the hook at the right hand side of the bed. We were frightened someone would catch their leg on it when getting in or out of bed. So we removed it and came up with two simple catches on the top corners see the pic attached.
the Murphy bed people have a new screw in catch from the side of the unit as we had attached the cupboard to it we were unsure it would work for us so put the white catches on instead, after all they are only there to stop children pulling the bed on top of them.
You seriously need to look at this safety catch as I do not know how it passes health and safety. This is the reason I gave it 4 stars.
Great product, but I defiantly recommend buying the head board with it. Make sure that you have plenty of room for assembly and at least two of you. It will take longer than you think to put it together.
The wall bed is of good quality and the opening and closing mechanism works well and safely. We’re very pleased with the final outcome , but it a big job to assemble. Took up most of a weekend. It’s mostly hard because the panels are heavier than the standard IKEA stuff you get. I would advice you having some good help and as much space as you can to assemble it . Some of the instructions are very precise.

My sons 1st night sleep was successful, and he’s over the moon with the space he has in his room.
The only downside is the instructions are difficult to follow at times because the parts aren't coded on the bags, so it can be a bit confusing. Its a solid bed and was worth the money. Way better than wayfair murphy beds which we've had a bad experience with.

All items delivered on time. You’ll need a clear and good size room in which to build the initial cupboard, then layout the bed, and connect / construct both elements.
All the parts were there - none missing. The instruction manual could be better explained and the pictures bigger / clearer.
The bed itself is robust, comfy, really easy to lift up and down. My teenage lad is using it and he’s 5’11” and he has loads of width and length with the King Size bed.
All in all - a great purchase.

It does look good when built and sturdy enough. Building it was a nightmare and took forever. Instructions are very poor. None of the parts have any identification not even the screws and fixing parts. Not ideal so you have to look at the pictures and pray for the best at
Times. There is a video that goes with it which I used when stuck but didn’t help with the parts either. I wouldn’t buy again and probably wouldn’t buy any of the furniture which is a shame as they do look good.

This product has exceeded my expectations. It arrived as 6 boxes plus the mattress, in total about 200Kg. I have decades of experience with flat-pack cabinets and have great respect for IKEA kitchen units and PAX wardrobes. The quality of the Arthauss kit is superb, dense panels, accurate drillings, quality fixings and gas-struts. It is a complex, well designed and engineered product but a challenge to construct. The instructions indicate that 3 people will take 4 hours. I worked mainly alone, with occasional help to lift and align heavy components. The instructions are pictorial with only warning messages in many languages. Very detailed which I soon realised I had to follow very precisely (I only found one minor mistake in one diagram). The final result works prefectly. I am pleased I ordered the mattress as it fits properly (Euro-king but correct thickness for the unit.
