Both the cabinets have a distinct design with each having at least two open compartments and four closed compartments. One of these also contains a shallow drawer for the storage of tiny items. Assembly Instruction - Wall Bed

The mattress is not included. The required size for this bed is 140x200cm [EU Double]. Maximum depth is 18cm, otherwise, the bed won't fold back up. Our foam/bonnell sprung mattress can be purchased separately HERE.

SOLID DESIGN

Our murphy bed comes complete with all parts and hardware ready to assemble. The carcass is made from a solid 22mm high-quality laminated board and the front panel is of a 16mm thickness. Wooden sprung slats are included. Finished with matt silver-coloured handle and cappuccino coloured leg for that modern look.

Please be aware that for safety reasons the bed needs to be mounted to a wall. Fixings for this will not be included as you need ones specific for your type of wall.

FUNCTIONALITY

This bed provides a sleeping area without taking up valuable living space. You can simply fold up the bed when not in use to reclaim the free space. Add some personal touch to and put some photos up on the backboard so that the bed can still look interesting even when folded down! Storage cabinets include shelves only.

ASSEMBLY AND WALL MOUNTING

Wall beds must be fixed directly to a solid structure such as brick, concrete or a solid timber frame. Wall beds must not be fixed to a plasterboard or similar unless there is a solid structure underneath it. Wall fixings for your specific type of wall can be purchased at a local DIY store. We recommend this item be assembled by a professional joiner or a competent person.

Customer photo review of CP-01 Vertical Wall Bed Concept Pro 140cm with Storage Cabinets

We absolutely love our new Murphy bed. It took some time to put it all together as some of the printed instructions were very vague and the print was faint in parts too. Delivery was fast and the two delivery guys were great . The quality of the unit is excellent. If I had to give some constructive criticism, it would be to improve the instructions. For example, neither the booklet or the video didn't state that to attach the spring cover, the bed needed to be at an angle and not flat. I'd like to thank Shona from the customer service team, who gave excellent and speedy advice to me via email when we had queries about building the bed and side units.

Delivery on time Once worked out instructions,to correct boxes found easy assembly. Harder to sort springs as video showed diff fittings. Next day delivery of wrong spring, excellent. Looks great now done

The bed & wardrobes look fantastic and very sturdy. Lovely Matt finish (not a fan of gloss). Similar to other reviews, assembly was not easy as picture instructions only and none of the parts are numbered / labelled. Video tutorial helped a bit but parts were different as not for this specific. Comes in 5 heavy boxes so have to take it all out to try and work out what goes where. If instructions were better and parts labelled, would have given it a "love it" rating

Great product, looks really good once finished and in place. The instructions could be improved, especially around the spring fitting

We purchased a Murphy Bed and we absolutley love it. My boyfriend managed to build mist if it himself over 3 evenings (apparently I was just getting in his way. Hahah) Communication was brilliant. The lads who dropped the bed off were very professional and using PPE. Delivery date was earlier than expected, which was a bonus. The lads dropped off when they said they would. So all in all..very happy customers. Thank you 😊

It was quite challenging to put together. I myself am an architect, and the friend who helped me put it together is an engineer, and the two of us found it hard! I do believe there was a defect in the positioning in the locking mechanism and we had to reposition it. Overall however it looks good! I hope it holds up :)
